Student Travel Grant

IASED is committed to providing young students an exceptional platform of sharing and disseminating knowledge and technologies in the fields of science and engineering. By launching the project of Student Travel Grant, IASED encourages more students contribute their passion and wisdom to scientific activities and achieve higher level of studies and research. The grants will be prized to certain number of students if the conference receives external sponsorship funds from industry. The grants cover full or partial travel expenses for grant winners.

Who is eligible

1. The applicant must be under the age of 35.

2.The applicant must be a student with an accepted and registered paper at IASED supported conference at the time of application.

3. One paper eligible for one application only. 

4. The applicant must not come from the same department of an institution with one exist grant winner.

5. The applicant with full-text submission will be placed at a favorable position.

How to apply

Applicants please send your application to info@iased.org and CC the conference email by the latest one months ahead of the conference, application should include:

1.Student travel grant form (Click to download) 

2.Your latest CV

3.The date of enrollment and the expected date at the PhD/Master/Bachelor program for graduation

4.A list of conferences that you previously attended

5.A support letter from your supervisor

Evaluation Process

Applications will be reviewed by the evaluation committee and appropriate sponsorship division; you will receive a notification 2-3 weeks before the conference. We strongly suggest students do not depend on the travel grant notification to plan their trip to ensure the lowest cost. 

Reimbursement

The travel grant will be reimbursed in cash at the conference.
